Je disais l’autre jour qu’il n’y a plus guère qu’en Grande-Bretagne que la peinture est encore hautement considérée comme art. Ainsi, une de mes cousines, Yolaine (que je n’ai hélas pas revu depuis notre adolescence), a épousé un peintre anglais — & une recherche sur le web révèle que le monsieur est un artiste assez connu. En plus d’être visiblement talentueux!

Jonathan Parsons was born in Redhill, Surrey, in 1970, and studied at Goldsmiths College, London. Parsons recreates found marks and explores the three-dimensional illusory quality of the flat surface.
